christmas is all about giving and celebrating and joy.
as life would have it, the day isn't as picturesque as one of those hallmark greeting cards (yeah, still hallmark) portray it to be.
had mini "noche buena" with mama and shobe (tulog na si papa)... messy lasagna na hindi talaga masarap (but still thankful because some people don't even have anything to eat) last night and we slept mga 1.30 to two na.
my christmas started late. at around 10.30am
i was confused coz my mama was still sound asleep pero may commotion na sa kitchen.
when i finally went down with my mom, we saw papa had cooked breakfast. hahahh!
nakakatuwa. kahit ham and fried egg lang. haha... :)
then last-minute gift wrappings after getting dressed and ready to go to our christmas party at my aunt's house. grabe. thank god for paper bags.
we had games. grabe. most of them involved running around like idiots. i, of course, was in my heels. just great. but hey. our team still won.
after the games, we had our exchange gifts, a yearly tradition, by the way. i only got one gift from my "manita" (parang "mommy" sa kris kringle) but i'm not complaining coz i care more about those cute little red envelopes that promise a looooot of happiness (haha!) i'm not gonna say how much i got pero it's a looong way from 26,500 (digicam, heheheh) ... pero pangdagdag na yun!
this day partly sucked coz my dad went to play mahjong with my aunts and uncles after the "festivities" and we got stuck waiting and doing nothing for them to finish. boooring.
well, this is where i get off tonight.
