forecast

This is today's forecast sa friendster...

You're longing for something new -- an adventure of some sort -- but your (perhaps slightly overactive) sense of responsibility is just saying no. Appease it a little, then tell it to shush -- and bust out of your routine.

what can i say about it?
hell, yeah. totoo yan.

wait

story of my life.
wait.
keep on waiting.
waiting for what?

for the driver, for my classmates who always come late...

i'm tired of waiting.

for two hours everyday, i wait.
i've wasted 26 hours of my life waiting every morning. and for what??? nothing.
this sucks. really.

why cant people come on time?

well, it's not like i can do anything about that. so moving on...

this day feels like a waste. although jja n i did get some things accomplished, i spent like 4 hours of my day (in school) waiting... for ja to arrive in school and for my sister's class to end.

it's a waste. but what else can i do...

it's sad...

anyway, kim feels depressed. she doesnt know why either... earlier today, i thought, i dont really have a specific reason to be sublimely happy but i'm not depressed either... i think that i need to stop thinking too much about depression for me to bypass it...

blah blah blah...
im not making much sense...

till tomorrow, then.
can't wait.

style me

saturday

went to kim's house to do our styling project. grabe ang kulit ni nichole. as usual, na sidetrack na naman kme sa pag-gawa ng project... meron kc isang disney photo mosaic jigsaw puzzle na ang sarap gawin tapos may santol, indian mango at bagoong n taho na nag distract sa amin. pero after a while, nakaayos din kme... except si kim... ang kulit kasi ni nichole... ayaw pa mag pa cut hair... but i had a lot of fun... :) tapos may late snack kme na baked mussels and lasagna... sarap galing ni yaya magluto! i posted some of the pics na :)

sunday

then had tortang talong for lunch... bitin nga eh.
then we picked up my aunt sa house nya coz we were gonna watch mr & mrs smith. i didn't want to watch it nga eh pero para masabing napanood ko. over hyped lng yun movie dahil sa alleged affair ni brand n angelina. the only ok part in the movie was adam brody and he didn't do much in it. oh well.. and after watching sin city, any new movie you watch after it would pale in comparison.
went to the art shop thingy sa green belt kakaloka yun 9x12 sketchpad nla 420pesos! wah! pero ang ganda ng paper parang parchment of some sort na medyo yellowish... maybe one day i'll buy. maybe not.
dumaan dn kme sa globe hub tanong tanong ng cell phone.. bibilihan na ko! woohoo!!!

monday

eto update lng ng blog. n post pics.

sin city raves

the old man dies; the little girl lives. fair trade.

sin city is sooooo good. i love everything about it except elijah wood's "reflectorized" eyeglasses and zigzag design on his jacket. n jaime king's portrayal of her character/s wasn't/weren't very believable. love the hair, though.

nick stahl was so superb. galing grabe. (can't wait for tuesday--carnivale season 2 na!) galing din ni bruce willis! galing man! josh hartnett's really good when it comes to narration... haha kahit sa start n end lng sha nag-narrate!!!!

i also love the parts when the scenes turn cartoon-ish (bruce willis' last scene)... n nakakatawa c marv (mickey rourke). ayaw mamatay.

love it love it love it!

but if you're looking to see all the nudity, you won't see it in the cut version of the movie.
you're only gonna see jaime king's boobs and carla gugino's butt. ya. i think that's all.

the r-13 rating didn't really take that much away from the movie... i think. just less blood and less gore.

the old man dies; the young woman lives. fair trade.

p.s. sarap talaga ng coffee jelly frappucino

flight to madagascar via gateway cineplex 10: delayed

and i thought delays only happend to airline flights.

but this was not the case when we went to gateway to watch a movie last night.
my dad got free passes to see unleashed; and i am so not a jet li fan. we came to an agreement that they watch it with my ama and my sister and i will just watch madagascar.

so i logged on to the net and found the sked for gateway (coz that's probably the only place left where they're still showing unleashed).
`lo and behold, the sked was different when we actually got there. we were supposed to watch the 9.30 madagascar but when we got there, the sked was 10.10 STRIKE ONE.

then after deciphering the mystery/problem that is their movie sked board, we found out there were no reserved seats for BOTH our movies (w/c is ok for unleashed coz no one else is watching that anyway).
their system is soooo MAGULO.
some theaters have reserved seats, some have none. some have no reserved seats in the morning but have in the last full show. it's so inconvenient. STRIKE TWO.

then after dinner, we wandered around the virtually empty mall to see what else is there: other that 3 lascoste stores, an undecorated/unfinished enzo angiolini store, a small rustans (and a few more stores); nothing. there was nothing.
nothing that makes me wanna go back.

then we headed up to the theater at 9.45 (for the 10.10 screening) to line up so that we can choose our seats.
try waiting in line for 30 mins ( in high heels) only to find out the stupid pink film festival screenig still wasn't finished and our screening was being moved to 10.40.
it would probably been okay if they announced to the people in line (w/ the line already reaching the globe platinum theater waaaay in the back of the mall)
but no..... i had to march up to the ticket booth and still ask what's going on.
the ticket girls said the movie was "delayed" (a term i don't think is appropriate for the situation).
other than that she knew nothing about the film festival.
then i promptly asked for a refund.

STRIKE THREE: you're out..

we headed to coffee bean and tea leaf (much to my sister's delight) and waited there from 10.15 to 11.15 for our parents to finish their movie.

GATEWAY SUCKS man.

p.s.
don't you think it's wrong to schedule another screening after an event (such as the pink film fest?) that is likely to run late?

and don't you think if they choose to schedule another movie after an event, they should've chosen another movie instead of madagascar (w/c is probably waaaaaay past kids' bedtimes); a lot like love (just opened this week) would've been a more appropriate choice.

and don't you think they should've informed us instead of making us wait in line like idiots?.

ok sana mura lng movie sa gateway- 99 for free seating tpos 120 for reserved seating (mura na talaga as compared to 150 ng greenbelt n rockwell and shang) pero kung ganyan lang din, wag na lang.

i mean, they don't have much to offer na nga and they still manage to fuck up the one thing they have an edge over other cinemas. there were a lot of displeased patrons last night.

p.p.s.
10.10 na nga- "delayed" na yun next screening and i see this gay man making landi to the camera explaining what their fucking movie was all about. sana he showed a lot more sensitivity to the people in line.

i rest my case.
actually, i don't.
i'm still pissed.
