here i am again. depressed, moody, and feeling like i've the worst luck ever. i know this isn't the real case but i just can't help feeling this way.
maybe i'm just in this state of heightened emotions. and it just so happens i'm feeling really sucky today.
last month i couldn't remember if i was overly happy or if it were the same story as today.
here i am, rambling on again.

maybe it was my mistake to have expected too much from the last installment of the smen trilogy. but forgive me. part three's are called "finale"'s for a reason. they're supposed to be damn good.
this one disappoints.

i try my very best to separate what i know about the characters from the cartoon series but the characters in the movie were just so lame. except for wolverine.

never liked famke janssen as jean gray. didn't like her as phoenix either. she had no presence whatsover. and during the war, she just stood there. i thought she was supposed to be all rage and stuff. if you call being immobile "rage", then i guess she succeeded in her protrayal of the dark phoenix.
the climactic "war"... like, whatever. it was isolated on alcatraz island. so much for a war..
and wolverine's "naaagnas" na skin, please. his skin is disintegrating but his pants manage to stay in one piece. in pretty good condition, actually. haha.
most important of all. where the hell is gambit?
they introduced so many new mutants but most of them had no use... especially archangel. aside from the abs and the wings, he just flew around.
