too good to be true
i thought a five day vacation (friday, saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday) was too good to be true... turns out it was coz i was supposed to go to school last tuesday for makeup class... but i suddenly got avery severe case of tamaditis and decided not to go... thank god i didn't coz if i did, i would've wasted money for cab fare and wasted time by getting up early-- sir john was a no show... and who cares about mitali's class... it's not like she grades us fairly... but moving on...
you realize that i have not updated my blog in quite a while now... but what you don't know is i did write an entry during the break... so what happened to it??? stupid computer... some programs stopped running and responding so i was forced to close explorer. in doing that, i unknowingly closed the window that was posting my blog entry... hence, my long absence from the world of blogging.
i accomplished a lot and none during the weekend. first, i had my hair cut... it's still quite long and still as unmanageable as ever but what the hell. as princess mia said: this is as good as it's gonna get. then i had a facial... hee hee... a long overdue facial... sadly, i failed to get myself a manicure AND a pedicure... sniff... i did, however, get to watch the polar express and billy was soooooo adorable...but the story..? wasn't as adorabole. as a matter of fact, it was lame. but it's a kid movie-- what can you expect from it... then on saturday... i did parts of my draping project-- the one with the architectural details on it... what else did i do??? hmm, i forget...i keep forgetting things... but anyway, on sunday we went to shang to watch alexander... so it was me, my sister, my parents and my ama... why oh why did i not learn from my mistakes. watching phone booth was a mistake. wasting so much time watching him stand inside a goddamn phone booth!!! so why didn't i stay away from alexander????!!! two words: COLIN FARRELL. that's why. can't stay away... can't help it... oh yeah. the movie? it SUCKED. big time. two hours and fory minutes of boredom... the scenes, the backgdrops, the sets, were beautiful though... and colin farrell... sigh.... then we went to jack's loft for dessert... i had tiramisu to rid myself of the awful memory that was alexander... i knew two hours and forty minutes of colin farrell was too good to be true...
then on monday... what did i do... ? oh yeah nothing... and on tuesday? fashsk plates... then we had class on wednesday and no class again on thursday and hopefully, no class tomorrow...
