just got home. yes. i finally got out of the house! woohoo!
banga at bungo.
the national museum i didn't like. it was four floors of creepy old stuff like banga's and bungo's (and i hate bones)... i remember going there (when it was still at the old congress building; not it's at the old finance building just across the road)on a field trip when i was in grade school. and i remembered seeing banga's. i only liked the gallery that featured the philippine art competition 2005. i wasn't able to read what the contest's theme was but a lot of artists made works entitled "reflection" ... i loved this super sparkly one--not because of its subtext or symbolism or what (i don't even want to guess what the artist was trying to say...)--just because it was sparkly. haha. lame, right?

had lunch at grappa's sa ccp complex. super napagod kme sa national museum. grabe. yummy pesto genovese. and pizza. super busog na kme isang slice lang nakain ko. 2 slice lng dn k jaydee.. hahha. i loved the iced tea. kahit natatamisan si jaydee.
haha. nag picture dn kme sa may harbor. hahha. parang tourist.

i was excited to visit the met. since i had already been there to see the terno exhibit. apparently met showcases more contemporary works. and i enjoy these things much better since the artists presents new stuff. something i haven't seen before. :)
i absolutely loved the paper exhibit thingy at the tall gallery. haha. at first i was hesitant to enter since we'd have to pass through this super slim opening on the wall (with weird furry things on the sides)... the guards were motioning for us to go in...that that was the way in. turns out. it was a maze. totally fabulous. you could almost get lost inside (not) and when you get out, that was where the exhibit proper was. i love it, i love it, i love it! absolutely fabulous!

the second floor had a two different exhibitions. there was one artwork in the "open letter" exhibit that stood out. i can't describe it. basta.
